Process: Shennum Green was tasked with handling all marketing for the grand opening of Olson’s Village Walk community. We designed a multi-faceted campaign that included print advertising in key newspapers, e-blasts to interest lists, a grand opening event and finally the design of the Village Walk sales center with collateral on the energy- and cost-saving benefits of going green at Village Walk.

Results: Village Walk welcomed more than 300 attendees during its grand opening weekend, setting a new record for all Olson community grand openings in Northern California. 

Situation: A Bay Area builder for more than 20 years, The Olson Company launched their first green community in Northern California with the grand opening of Village Walk in San Lorenzo. As green building emerges as a vital selling point in the Bay Area, Olson needed to differentiate themselves among many and entice buyers looking to go green.
